A Community Caring for Life ~ ACCL

A Community Caring for Life exists to increase parish awareness of issues relating to respect for human life from conception through natural death and to support pro-life organizations in our community. The mission of ACCL is to uphold the principle of the sanctity of life, which holds that each human life is sacred, a gift from God, worthy of respect and dignity, and not to be deliberately shortened regardless of circumstances. This is the cornerstone of our Catholic social teaching.

Chapel of the Innocents in Need of Adorers:

In February 2008 Archbishop Harry Flynn dedicated the Chapel of the Innocents during the first Mass at the chapel. This chapel is adjacent to the abortuary in Robbinsdale. To maintain adoration at this chapel on a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week basis with two adorers present at all times, 360 hourly time slots need to be filled. Those not currently committed to adoration or, if committed to an adoration time, those willing to commit to an additional hour are asked to join in prayer for the unborn at the Chapel of the Innocents. Please consider taking a Holy Hour of prayer. If you are able to commit to adore, please contact Pro-Life Action Ministries’ volunteer Adoration Coordinator, Sarah Carlson at (651) 771-1500 or via e-mail.
