"How many sacred works have been composed through the centuries by people deeply imbued with the sense of the mystery! The faith of countless believers has been nourished by melodies flowing from the hearts of other believers, either introduced into the liturgy or used as an aid to dignified worship. In song, faith is experienced as vibrant joy, love and confident expectation of the saving intervention of God" (Pope John Paul II's Letter to Artists, n. 12).

Adult Choir

Adult Choir leads song in various musical styles, from gospel to praise to classical to hymnody, often accompanied by a variety of instruments. The choir is open to students in grades 9-12 as well as adults. Rehearsals are held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings from September through May.

Contemporary Choir

This is an opportunity to experience the joy of participating in the liturgy, while leading the community in song in a contemporary style. The choir is open to students in grades 9-12 as well as adults. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7 p.m., September through May.

Praise Choir

This ensemble leads the community in a spirited gospel/praise style song to enhance the Liturgy. The choir is open to students in grades 9-12 as well as adults. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 7 p.m., September through May. Sing at Mass as scheduled.

Handbell Choir ~ Alpha Ringers

Beginning ringers are invited to lead the assembly and accompany the Liturgy using our five octave set of Malmark handbells. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m., September through May. Play at Mass as scheduled.

Handbell Choir ~ Holy Name Ringers

Advanced ringers are invited to lead the assembly and accompany the Liturgy using our five octave set of Malmark handbells. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Parish Children's Choir

Children in grades 3-8 are invited to join the parish children's choir. Practice for the parish children's choir is at 6:20-7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

School Children's Choir

Children in grades third, fourth and fifth are invited to join the school choir. The school choir will sing at Wednesday liturgies and together with the parish children's choir once a month at a Sunday liturgy. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays at 3 p.m.

School Schola

Children in this sixth grade choir lead the singing at school masses on Wednesday and join the parish children's choir once a month on Sundays. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays at 8 a.m.

Cantors
The cantor's primary responsibility is singing the responsorial psalm, and also assisting the assembly with the singing of the hymns and acclamations. Audition required. Rehearsals as needed and sing at Mass when scheduled.

Instrumentalists
This is an opportunity to share your talent and enhance the liturgy with the beautiful music of woodwind, brass, percussion, strings or guitar. Audition required. Rehearsals as needed.
