Please consider joining the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

The RCIA is a process for:
  • Those wishing to better understand the Catholic Faith.
  • Baptized Christian adults wishing to be received into the Catholic Faith.
  • Those wishing to be baptized into the Catholic Faith.
  • Baptized Catholic adults wishing to receive the Sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
  • Baptized Catholic adults wishing to be updated in their Catholic Faith.
RCIA is about people on a journey of faith; seeking to develop or deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. It involves the whole Christian Community. The process is divided into four phases to help the seeker, candidate or catechumen in their Christian formation.

Presentations focus on the Catholic Church’s teaching regarding: sacraments, liturgy, social justice, conscience formation and morality, Mary, the saints, Sacred Scripture, prayer and much more.

Research shows that couples and families that share a common belief and practice their faith by going to Church together and participating in religious activities have a better marriage and family life.

RCIA starts in October and continues on Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m until a few weeks after Easter. If you are interested in joining the process or would like more information, please contact Jean Roozendaal via either e-mail or phone: (763) 745-3481.
