Maintenance and Custodial Assistant

We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance and Custodial Assistant to join our team.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 6 am – 2 pm (40 hours per week)
This role is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and service-minded. Prior experience is helpful but not required—we provide training for the right candidate who is eager to learn and contribute.
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our facilities team, you will help ensure that our parish and school remain welcoming and well cared for.
Responsibilities include:
- General cleaning and upkeep of parish and school facilities
- Performing basic maintenance and repair tasks
- Event setup and takedown for parish and school activities
- Occasional interaction with parishioners, students, and staff in a friendly and courteous manner
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, positive, and committed to excellent service.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in building trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry)
- Special or Class C Boiler License, or willingness to obtain within six months
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative team spirit
- Support of Catholic doctrine
- Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and initial training
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $21–$24 per hour (based on experience and boiler license)
