Women’s Wisdom on Wednesdays

Women’s Wisdom on Wednesdays (WWW) is a community of women who meet throughout the year at HNOJ for fellowship and learning. Our objectives are:

• Build supportive and enriching friend and neighbor relationships.
• Explore what it means to be grace-filled women at any stage of life.
• Share collective wisdom to better appreciate blessings and deal with challenges.
• Generate a deeper appreciation for our Catholic Christian faith and traditions.

Every year we participate in a multi-session program focused on a particular theme and also read and discuss a number of interesting books together.

Called to Community: The Eminence of Catholic Social Action
2026-2027 Program

Please join us for this year’s WWW spirituality program as we explore the Church’s rich tradition of Catholic Social Teaching through three interconnected themes: the dignity of every human person, participation in family and community life, and the responsibility to build a just and compassionate world. Through Scripture, Church teaching, discussion, prayer, and optional practical experiences, we will deepen our understanding of how to recognize Christ in every person and live out solidarity, justice, charity, and stewardship for the common good. We meet on the following Wednesdays from 10:30 am-12 pm at HNOJ.

• Block I: Dignity and Community – Sept. 16 through Oct. 21

The dignity of the human person, our call to participation, family, and community

• Block II: Solidarity (especially with the poor) – Jan. 6 through Feb. 10

The dignity of all, solidarity, charity, justice, subsidiarity, and reconciliation

• Block III: Work and Responsibility – March 31 through May 5

The dignity of work, the rights of workers, care for God’s creation, and other responsibilities
