February online giving software updates
Our software provider completed a brand update on Feb. 4 that affects the links (URL) used to access online giving. (You will note that WeShare now shows up as ParishSOFT Giving.) Use the buttons on this page to access online giving.
Additionally, ParishSOFT will be upgrading it’s platform on Feb. 25. This upgrade will require donors to set up multifactor authentication the next time they log in. It is recommended that you write down your login and password for Giving and have it handy when you login to your giving account after this date.

Login and Accounts
I can’t log in to Giving.
On Feb. 4, 2026, WeShare was rebranded as ParishSOFT Giving and the URL changed. This is the correct web address.
Your email address is your login. If that is not working, it may be linked to an old email address or your spouse’s email. If you need help, please contact the parish office.
I forgot my password or my temporary password expired.
Enter your email address and click Next, then select “Forgot Password?” and follow the instructions.
How do I create an account?
When you provide an email in the contact section, an account will automatically be created, and you will receive a temporary password. Please log in and change your password within 24 hours.
Brand Update Information
- WeShare is now ParishSOFT Giving – exactly the same software, just a new name. In fact, if you register for any event or study at HNOJ, you have already been using ParishSOFT Giving.
- The web address used to access WeShare no longer works. Please bookmark this link instead.
Platform Update Feb. 25
On Feb. 25, 2026, ParishSOFT will be updating the platform for better security. Donors will be required to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) upon their next login.
The web address used to access Giving will change; the current ParishSOFT Giving URL will redirect to the new one. You will want to bookmark the new address after you set up MFA.
Payments and Receipts
Which payment methods are accepted?
Contributions can be made from checking or savings accounts, or with debit/credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), as well as Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Venmo.
Do parishioners receive receipts for their donations?
Yes. By default, all contributors enrolled in online giving receive receipts by email. You may opt out for recurring donations.
Why don’t all of my payments show up in Giving History?
Only donations made through ParishSOFT Giving appear in giving history. Cash, checks, or other contributions made outside of online giving are not listed.
Are all payments shown in Giving History tax-deductible?
Not all payments are tax-deductible. Holy Name of Jesus will send you an annual giving statement for your tax records.
Security and Enrollment
Is Giving safe?
Yes. ParishSOFT follows the highest security standards for online transactions. It is certified by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) as a Level 1 Service Provider.

Ways You Can Give
Visit our online giving page to set up one-time or recurring donations through our secure portal. Your support strengthens parish ministries and helps our community flourish.
You may also share your time and talents by joining a prayer group or volunteering in parish ministries.
Each collection includes options for One-time or Recurring gifts. For recurring giving, you can edit your schedule or view your history anytime through the ParishSOFT Giving portal.
How Online Giving Works
Using a bank account or credit card, you can:
- Give to any parish collection
- Schedule Sunday giving
- View your giving history
To give:
- Access the Online Giving Portal
- Select a collection image on the Home tab, or click Give Now to choose from a drop-down menu. Returning donors may use the Sign In tab.
- Enter your gift amount and payment information.
- Confirm your gift.
