Our 2017 annual parish rummage sale will be June 22-24. This sale is a huge cooperative event that raises funds for many local organizations and provides members in and beyond our community the opportunity to purchase great goods at low costs.
June 22, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
June 23, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
June 24, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Needed June 19 & 20 - a volunteer with a truck to pick up some items. Also on June 24 to return some borrowed items. If you can help, please contact Mike Kayser at 763-449-8985.
Ways you can help:
- Collect and save items your family no longer needs. Items you can bring in include clothing and shoes in good condition, books, baby equipment and clothing, luggage, furniture, household goods and small electronics, jewelry, collectibles and decorations are all saleable. We CANNOT accept large appliances; TVs; bulky upholstered furniture like sofas; computers and monitors; large office furnishings like file cabinets; yard and garden chemicals; lighting fixtures or drapery rods. Donations can be brought in between 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 18 and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21. Please bring all items through the door by Emmaus 2 (not through doors 1 and 2, which lead into the Gathering Space.)
- Volunteer before the sale. Set up help is needed for June 18-21. We will begin sorting items, organizing displays and pricing items at 1 p.m. on June 19. Lunches will be provided. Also, all volunteers who donate eight hours of their time will be able to attend a private pre-sale on Wednesday evening.
- Help us during the sale. We are looking for cashiers, carrying helpers, and merchandise organizers. You might also consider bringing in food for our volunteers (sandwiches, snacks, pop, hot dishes, salads, etc.) Food donations can be dropped off in the kitchen anytime during the week of the sale.
- Give a few hours after the sale. Cleanup takes a lot of effort and hands. Any amount of time you can give between noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday is greatly appreciated.
