What is Adoration? Event

What is Adoration?

What is Adoration? Why do we do it? Why do we have a separate chapel? Why do so many ministries do it for prayer? Why would anyone sign up for an hour in the chapel?

If you have ever asked these or any other questions about Eucharistic Adoration, HNOJ has a new event for you. Four times this ministry year, HNOJ will be hosting - What is Adoration? The Event. At these one-hour teaching and prayer events, participants will hear beautiful teaching about the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, the why-s and how-s of Eucharistic Adoration, and an invitation to learn what it means to worship. This event is perfect for the seasoned adorer and the parishioner who doesn't know anything about adoration at all!

No registration is needed just show up in the main Church at HNOJ at any one (or all four!) of the following events. While the main points of the teaching portion of the evening will remain the same. Each session will be given by a different HNOJ staff member who will bring their own stories and style to the teaching.

Thursday, Nov. 18, 7:30-8:30 p.m. - Chris Kostelc, director of mission and faith formation
Wednesday, Feb. 2, 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Caitlin Westerhaus, coordinator of senior high youth ministry
