How many sacred works have been composed through the centuries by people deeply imbued with the sense of the mystery! The faith of countless believers has been nourished by melodies flowing from the hearts of other believers, either introduced into the liturgy or used as an aid to dignified worship. In song, faith is experienced as vibrant joy, love and confident expectation of the saving intervention of God" (Pope John Paul II's Letter to Artists, n. 12).

Students in fifth grade and older are invited to join our Youth Handbell Choir. If you have played a musical instrument in band or orchestra, or the piano, or if you have sung in a choir, you would have the basic knowledge to begin ringing bells. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 4:45 – 5:45 p.m.

Adult Choir leads song in various musical styles, from traditional to gospel to contemporary, often accompanied by a variety of instruments. The choir is open to adults, as well as students in grades 9-12, and rehearses from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

This is an opportunity to experience the joy of participating in the liturgy, while leading the community in song in a contemporary style. The choir is open to adults, as well as students in grades 9-12. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7 p.m., September through May.

Advanced ringers are invited to lead the assembly and accompany the Liturgy using our five octave set of Malmark handbells. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Children in grades 2-6 are invited to join the parish children's choir. Practice for the parish children's choir is at 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. on Wednesdays when Faith Formation is in session.
Children in grades 3-4 are invited to join the school choir. The school choir will sing at Wednesday liturgies and together with the parish children's choir once a month at a Sunday liturgy. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays at 3 p.m.
Children in this 5th - 6th grade choir lead the singing at school masses on Wednesday and join the parish children's choir once a month on Sundays. Rehearsals are held Tuesdays at 8 a.m.
The cantor's primary responsibility is singing the responsorial psalm, and also assisting the assembly with the singing of the hymns and acclamations. Audition required. Rehearsals as needed and sing at Mass when scheduled.
