The Young Adult Community at HNOJ
HNOJ Young Adults is Holy Name’s young adult community. We offer opportunities uniquely for 21-39-year-olds to grow in knowledge and relationship with Christ. Additionally, we create environments to grow in fellowship. We don’t just hang out, we build deeps relationships with each other. Read up on our offerings below. We are sincerely excited to meet you!

Pints and the Padre
Every 3rd Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Old Church/Choir Room
Pints and the Padre is our monthly event where we grab our favorite adult beverage with our favorite current associate pastor and discuss theology. Fr. Colin gives a presentation on a topic with a related excerpt from a book we (hopefully!) read in the past month. It's then opened up to ask Padre any questions we have about the presentation, Catholicism, or any other related burning questions.
You do not have to do the reading to attend this event. We aim to format the event so anyone can come to this event and leave feeling fed and not lost.

Come and hang out with the young adult community at HNOJ! This is a free form night to be yourself and be social with others who are also striving for holiness.
Bring a board game, a theological topic or anything else you can think of that would make the evening fun! Just make sure to double-check with Emily beforehand.
10/15 update: We are thinking about doing outdoor sports during the winter!

Every Tuesday, 7. – 9 p.m.
This is our weekly gathering to pray before the Blessed Sacrament while it is exposed in the main church. It’s a peaceful time to sit quietly with the Lord or talk to Him about that one really difficult thing you’ve needed to pray about for a while. Come when you can and leave when you need.
Emily will join the group at about 8:30 p.m.
COMING SOON! HNOJYA are conspiring to create small groups within our YA community. If you are interested in joining a small group or becoming a leader, please contact Emily.
