Holy Name of Jesus Young Adults strives to nurture a community of faith and fellowship for adults 21-39 through the faith community of Holy Name of Jesus.
We lift each other up as brothers and sisters in Christ, striving for holiness together. We want to welcome everyone at all stages of their faith journey. We also look for many opportunities to hang out together, like adventuring, having deep friendships, cooking food together, playing board games or whatever we feel like... You know, young adult stuff.
PINTS AND THE PADRE is our monthly gathering. Our associate pastor joins us for a relaxed evening at a local restaurant, enjoying food, drink, fellowship, and theological discussions. First, we check in with each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. We then engage in a discussion about a book we studied over the past month. Afterward, we have the opportunity to ask Fr. Anything (personal, theological, practical, non-sensical) or socialize with each other. You DO NOT have to have read the book to enjoy this evening.
HNOJ YA is brand new as of April 2020 and hopes to expand into additional events in the future like Holy Hour, reconciliation nights, board game nights and service events. If you are interested in helping make this happen, please contact Emily Abe.
